For EU lagoon operators, SediLogic® is a bioaugmentation range EuroCover is evaluating as its intended inquiry route for sludge reduction. The range has two lead dry formats, manufactured by SediLogic Technologies and reviewed against the lagoon before any commercial commitment. Product formulation and programme methods live with the manufacturer at lagoonsludge.com.
Formats under review
The range leads with two dry formats, because where the material sits decides the product:
- SediLogic® Core — a dense sinking solid. It is dosed onto an established sludge blanket and sinks to the sludge interface, where accumulated organic bottom sludge actually sits. This is the format for a lagoon with a measured blanket.
- SediLogic® Maintain — a dry water-soluble pouch for maintenance dosing and general organic load in the water column. Best fit where the lagoon is adequately mixed and the goal is keeping ahead of accumulation rather than reversing it.
The manufacturer also describes liquid formats only where a solid physically cannot be dosed. They are delivery-constraint options, not upgrades, and are not presented as currently orderable through EuroCover.
What it will not do
Bioaugmentation digests the volatile organic fraction of sludge — nothing else. Sand, grit, silt, mineral precipitates and plastics remain at any dose, from any vendor, in any format. Published volatile solids reductions in this category run from roughly 33% in controlled enzyme studies to around 60% in vendor case studies. If your accumulation is mostly inert grit, we will say so and point you at dredging instead — the manufacturer publishes the same position openly on lagoonsludge.com.
Applications that can be assessed
- Municipal and industrial wastewater lagoons (all cell types)
- Lift stations — fats, oils and grease caps and settled solids in wet wells
- Grease traps and interceptors in food service and processing
- Aeration tanks and clarifiers (mixed liquor settleability)
- Sludge holding and thickening tanks ahead of haulage
- Anaerobic digesters (volatile solids loading)
- Aboveground process and effluent storage tanks
Inquiry and order readiness
There is deliberately no shopping cart. You describe the lagoon — surface area by cell, depths, aeration status and the goal — and the programme can be reviewed against the manufacturer’s method. The official product pages accessed on 31 July 2026 state that the SDS, final labels and operating lot-traceability process are not complete, so an inquiry is not an order or an availability promise. EuroCover must confirm those items, freight and commercial acceptance before issuing a supply commitment. The manufacturer’s browser planner at lagoonsludge.com remains the technical starting point.
